About Us
The Parish Council is a statutory local government body, consisting of seven elected members and a parish clerk. It is funded by a precept on all council taxpayers and is empowered to carry out certain duties on behalf of residents. These include maintenance and encouragement of use of the Memorial Hall, the upkeep of public seating areas, along with assisting in environmental, planning and community issues.
The Parish Council meets monthly in the Memorial Hall at 7.30 pm. The press and public are cordially invited to attend as observers. |
